Autumn is rolling in along the banks of the Mighty Mississippi, and the Bucktown Americana Music Show is leaning right into the season!
Bucktown returns at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, with a delightfully spirited theme: Murder Ballads & Moonshine. We’re brewing up an unforgettable evening of high-lonesome drama, tall tales, and toe-tapping roots music.
Joining us in the spotlight this month:
- Chloe Mae: The gifted young singer-songwriter and perennial Bucktown crowd favorite returns to share her captivating voice and storytelling.
- Kickin' Back: Bringing their super-fun harmonies and lively acoustic sound to round out a fantastic night of music.

We'll be in Bishop Hill, Ill. at the Doodle Folk Music Festival 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13. This FREE event is next to the park gazebo in the Bishop Hill City Park. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music, which starts at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 4 p.m.
